HOW TO GET TO NAMUR?

More than 100 international airlines serve Brussels National Airport.

Different low fare companies also operate connections between major European cities and Charleroi-Brussels South Airport.

 

A) From Brussels National Airport (Zaventem)

At Brussels International Airport, take the train to BRUXELLES-NORD (3 departures per hour - duration 20 minutes). Alight at BRUXELLES-NORD station.

Then take a direct train in the direction of Luxembourg, alight at Namur (57 minutes).

 

B) From Brussels South/Charleroi airport

Take a line A bus from Charleroi airport terminal to Charleroi Sud railway station (combi-ticket on sale in the airport for bus + train)

Then take a direct train in the direction of Liege, alight at Namur (50 minutes).

 

C) You might prefer to book a shared taxi from the airport.

D) Train information can be found via the SNCB website

Namur is also easily accessed by train from Brussels Midi railway station where high speed trains connect to Paris, Amsterdam or Köln (Thalys and TGV) and London (Eurostar).

 

E) Youth Hostel to the University is a 25 minute-walk.

Taxi: Hepp'Taxis company is the cheapest (in front of the railway station).

Or take bus number 4 (2 per hour) in front of  the railway station.

From the Youth Hostel: bus stop “Marronniers” at Chaussée de Dinant.

F) Hampton's Hotel to the University is a 20 minute bus ride (again bus number 4, stop "Wépion (Carrefour)")
